Care

At Oak House we provide care for a range of circumstances within a warm, safe and friendly environment.

The home has 25 en-suite bedrooms and is a place where residents can thrive making friends and exploring new interests. Our rooms have a variety of styles. Bedrooms in the oldest part of the building have original features and a cosy cottage feel. Larger rooms for people with less mobility are available on the ground floor in the newest part of the building. All rooms are en-suite with many having wet rooms or private baths. We encourage residents to maintain independence and freedom whilst providing round the clock support and peace of mind.

Our care team work closely with individuals and their families to create a personalised care plan detailing any medical, physical or emotional needs and requirements. Ongoing evaluation and dialog with residents and families ensures care remains tailored to the individual. Personal wishes or changes in care can be altered as quickly as a residents needs may change.
If more clinical care is needed the home is supported by district nurses, GP’s and other healthcare professionals
